Pronunciation exercises enhance your listening skills. For this, you need a headphone. To learn more about how to use your headphone , refer to theChecking Audio section.
Read the instructions given at the top of the exercise and then answer the questions listed. Some exercises provide immediate feedback. After you complete the exercise, click on the save button. Once you submit the exercise, your score appears on the screen. However, some exercises provide delayed feedback; you receive the results after you finish all the questions.
First, you must listen to the audio clip which will start automatically. Then read the corresponding question carefully and select the correct answer from the options provided. You may listen as many times as you would like; Click on the "Click here to Listen" button to repeat the audio clip.
To stop the teacher pronunciation, click on the Stop or Pause buttons.
Click on the small check box next to the answer you would like to choose. If you change your mind, click on a different button. You may read the dialogue again in order to answer all the questions correctly.
Submit your answers by clicking on the Save button. The correct answer will be highlighted in Green. When you finish all questions within the current exercise, a new button will appear. When prompted by the button "Continue to the Next Exercise", click on it, or choose a new exercise from exercise list shown on the right top corner of the page.
You may search the meaning of a word while learning English on the site. Double-click on a word, and the meaning of the word will be displayed inside a popup window. You may also select a word by right-clicking it, and then select Dictionary from the context menu. You can check the meaning of any word you would like.
