1. Download core components

Download and install the core components by clicking on the link below. If you are using Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows ME, you do not need to install these components.

2. Download a Character

Download and install a character. Currently, the system supports only Peedy.

3. Download a Text-To-Speech Engine

Text-to-speech engines provide speech output capabilities for the Character. Download and Install the text-to-speech engine.

Download American English text-to-speech engine

4. Download SAPI 4.0 runtime support

Install SAPI 4.0 runtime support if you are using the Microsoft Windows XP, or if you intend to use the L&H TTS3000 engines.

5. Download the Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine

The speech recognition engine provides speech input capabilities for the character you choose.
